We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and passionate DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with great interpersonal skills to join our Tech Team.

Daily Activities

• Work with the development team to expand/improve CI/CD
• Updating, maintaining and deploying product updates.
• Designing and operating modern Microservices based platforms for unpredictable traffic patterns
• Follow up on best practices and procedures as established by the company

Responsibilities

• Help developers on a day-to-day bases to set up/troubleshoot their development environments
• Write scripts to automate development processes
• Install, configure, and support production and non-production platforms
• Troubleshooting technical problems
• Review source code (scripts mostly) and find issues
• Work directly with Developers supporting CI/CD pipeline
• Research and learn about new technologies, and integrate them into existing environments
• Designing and operating modern Microservices based platforms for unpredictable traffic patterns

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or another related field
• Experience with Git/Github.
• Experience in containerization environment such as Docker
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Kubernetes’ tools ecosystem
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, or Python is considered an asset
• Good knowledge of at least administering one modern database system such as MS SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL
• Knowledge of configuration management tools and familiarity with at least one, such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Demonstrate ability for multitasking, team playing, analytical thinking, prioritizing
• Excellent use of English and Greek language.
• Fulfilled military service obligations (for male applicants).

Nice To Have

• 2-year of experience as a DevOps engineer in a production environment.
• Experience in shipping, aggregating and visualizing logs from various sources (such as Kibana or Grafana)
• Programming / mathematical understanding is considered a plus
• Experience with Azure cloud-based deployment and support
• Familiarity with Data Wrangling tools (Elasticsearch (ELK), etc.)
• Familiarity with Logging/Monitoring tools.
• A strong preference for collaborative teamwork and work/knowledge sharing.
